"you cannot throw me in the briar patch, bitch, that is where i live!"

(el-p "$4 vic")

studio grind has taken a hit between my philly mural trips and griot tee production, but here's another small, smokey cityscape i finally wrapped up last week..

and after extended confusion, heartache, and neglect, i think i've finally resolved this poor overpainted child. two city night skies. just need a full moon to anchor it. boom. goodnight..

"i've lost a lot of sleep to dreams"

dag i love that song.

been so busy lately with my mural class and my recent open studios, i've fallen a couple weeks behind on this blog. just to catch up, some recent painting activity..

and some recent printmaking activity (including my first attempts at my obsolete facebook self portrait idea)..

"sitting here waiting for you would be like waiting for winter.."

(sade "love is stronger than pride")

lotta projects as of late.. teaching a freshman seminar at brooklyn college, re-launching griot apparel (details coming soon!), gettin' loose in the printmaking lab, working on a new live and dusty mix, seeking/receiving new freelance clients, peddlin' apples at the lincoln center farmers market, p/t office gig, and - of course - still pushing paint at brooklyn artists gym (as demonstrated below). got 99 problems, but being bored ain't one..
