Gowanus mural in progress!
In my continued effort to align myself with local muralists and gently get my own mural making career off the ground, all summer I have been assisting on a massive 30x100 foot mural on the Gowanus Canal (on Dyke's Lumber, across the water from Whole Foods) with lead artists Julia Whitney Barnes and Ruth Hofheimer. It's been a pretty incredible experience and I've learned a ton so far. It's been quite a journey and we're still making our way through, but I want to share a few in-progress photos awhile. Stay tuned for a final update in the coming weeks!

"basically cannon fodder"
"Nobody knows who the enemy is, 'cause he never goes in hiding
He's slitting our throats right in front of our eyes
While we pull the casket, he's riding
Better get it together, better get it together!
And see what's happening to you and you and you!"
